Noefuser Plus is a Patient Controlled Analgesia (PCA) pump for the postoperative analgesia.
With Noefuser Plus the pain medication is administered as a combination of the preset continuous basal rate and the patient controlled bolus administration.
The complete bolus volume can only be self-administered at defined intervals, named lock-out-time. The lock-out-time offers a non-manipulative protection from overdosing and is regulated by the flow rate of the additional restrictor at the entrance of the bolus reservoir.
If the bolus is used before the lock-out-time has elapsed, a proportionally reduced bolus will be administered.

When needed, you can infuse an additional bolus dose using the PCA module. The bolus dose is controlled by a lock-out time.
